Solarus is a provider of TV, phone and internet to customers throughout central Wisconsin. Customer activations had been driven by seasonal campaigns with little consistency. BR’s challenge was to create a vehicle that gives personality to the brand while effectively communicating the benefits of bundling Solarus products.
A campaign was developed to launch our newly-created spokesperson, “Joe Bundle.” Joe’s every-man, money-saving, character gave customers a reason to connect through TV, Radio, web, print and direct mail. You could even “friend” him on Facebook. The campaign was well received and the client saw significant response during the media flight. In addition, the Joe Bundle character developed a following that carried through to the next promotional campaign.
